Certification

Weyerhaeuser manages its forests for the sustainable production of wood and wood products that meet our customers' needs. We are committed to independent certification of our forest management that meets the principles and objectives of applicable forest certification systems.

All of Weyerhaeuser's owned and managed forests in North America are certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) and maintain environmental management systems aligned with the ISO 14001 standard.

The wood fiber used to make Weyerhaeuser products in North America originates from forests in the United States and Canada, typically in close proximity to a particular mill.

All Weyerhaeuser cellulose fibers mills have been certified to the:

• SFIS 2010-2014 Certified Sourcing standard
• SFI, PEFC & FSC Chain of Custody standard
• FSC Controlled Wood standard
