Grande Prairie

Weyerhaeuser’s Grande Prairie mill is in the Peace River country of northern Alberta, Canada, and is surrounded by boreal and sub-alpine forests.

The bleached kraft pulp produced at Grande Prairie consists of strong, fine, flexible fibers from softwood species, in particular, spruce and pine. This product is valued by papermakers around the world for its uniformity and ability to deliver high tensile strength at reduced refining requirements.
