Weyerhaeuser's StructurePak® liquid packaging board is used to produce cartons for liquids such as milk, juice, tea, shochu, and sake. Our StructureServ® paperboard is used by the food service industry for hot and cold cups and insulated containers to hold noodles, soups, coffee, and tea.

Properties

Our liquid packaging board comes in a variety of grades suitable for most common liquid containers. During manufacturing, wood fibers are processed to create a high-tech, three-ply board structure that was the first of its kind in the world. This structure means that we can engineer the sheet to match exactly the properties our customers tell us they need in the finished product.

Noodles, Soups, and Ovenable Foods

Our liquid packaging board is a practical, environmentally friendly alternative to plastic for both food service and beverage containers. To meet the requirements of unique applications, we also produce specialty boards with features such as medium- and high-oxygen barriers and thermal insulation properties.
