Norbrite® uncoated mechanical grades offer the full spectrum of possibilities
for printing and publishing. In particular, new Norbrite 92 delivers high brightness,
greater opacity, and excellent runnability with a yield advantage of 5-25 percent
over uncoated free sheet (UCFS) papers.
The full range of Norbrite and other NORPAC paper grades includes a wide range of
brightness levels specifically designed for high-quality offset printing of inserts,
direct mail, workbooks and manuals, statements, catalogs, and books.
Norbrite: Your Low-Cost Alternative
Norbrite papers offer a yield advantage of 5 to 25 percent over uncoated free-sheet
products. That's because our thermo-mechanical pulp fiber creates a sheet with increased
opacity, bulk, and yield in a lower basis weight than paper made using the traditional
kraft process.
All Norbrite products provide superb print quality and crisp color reproduction.
A special surface treatment enhances press performance, allows for extended run
times, and improves print quality on both heat-set and cold-set web presses. Norbrite
makes a high-value substitute for many free-sheet applications that do not require
an extended shelf life.

Book Publishing Grades
NORPAC'S state-of-the-art equipment uses precise caliper control to provide publishers
and printers with the pages per inch (PPI) they require. Offered in both blue-white
and cream shades, Norbrite Book grades can provide a yield advantage of up to 20
percent over standard uncoated free-sheet book grades with comparable PPI. For customers
requiring recycled product, we now offer Recycled Norbrite Book Cream with 10 percent
post-consumer waste (PCW) and a total of 20 percent recycled fiber.
