We support the development of suitable hunting habitat on company lands through cooperative wildlife research with state agencies. This includes careful application of forestry techniques, training of field personnel and adherence to specific laws—including those relating to the protection of threatened and endangered species.

Weyerhaeuser land in Alabama is currently under lease with private hunting clubs or state agencies. The leases are long-term and tend to be awarded to local organizations.
