Deboxing of Purged Documents
Virtually every large enterprise keeps vast quantities of documents. When purged, this paper does not belong in a landfill. Instead, it can be separated and reused through Weyerhaeuser's Deboxing Program.

We Make It Easy
At the outset, Weyerhaeuser representatives visit your facilities and describe various options for recycling. Our recommendations depend on the documents and your in-house procedures. We might suggest shrink wrapping and boxing the papers so that our employees can load the cartons directly onto pallets or perhaps packing the papers loose in open drop-boxes, which we can provide. When the documents are ready, we pick them up and haul them to our recycling facility for sorting.

When we begin our relationship, a Weyerhaeuser National Accounts representative will meet with your team to assess volumes and service needs and learn about specific facility requirements. Weyerhaeuser can also arrange for training of your staff by equipment manufacturers' representatives.
Roll Splitting and Seconds Recycling for Printers and Converters
Roll ends and other paper rejects may not be usable by printers and converters, but they are an important source of recovered paper for Weyerhaeuser. Our collection efforts provide customers with a value-added service and help conserve resources at the same time.
Reusable Resources in Roll Ends
Printers and converters face high disposal costs for butt ends, since cores are heavy and paper is hard to remove. Weyerhaeuser answers this problem by collecting ends and splitting off any remaining stock with specialized roll-splitting equipment. We then recycle both cores and paper so that little or no paper goes to waste. What's more, using Weyerhaeuser's roll-end service is convenient because we provide storage containers and transportation. We can accommodate full-size rolls of any grade in widths up to 72 inches; uninked white or pastel stocks are preferred. We often accept unusual lots, making every effort to be flexible in response to customers' needs.
Special Attention for Obsolete Paper Products
Weyerhaeuser is also eager to accept seconds-paper supplies our customers no longer need but which can be reused for other purposes. We collect job lots, saving our customers both handling and disposal fees and keeping usable material out of landfills.

Instead of paying to haul paper to the landfill, you can easily help turn it into new paper by leasing a baler from Weyerhaeuser and calling us to pick up the bales-we'll use the materials to make new paper in our mills. The equipment is high quality and rates are reasonable, with full service and maintenance options. We coordinate with suppliers to:

- Pick up baled recyclables
- Track proceeds for credit to customer accounts
To simplify the process, lease costs are bundled with our purchase of the paper, so you get only one statement at the end of the month. And here's more good news: Almost always, participating customers receive a check representing net proceeds.
Compactor Convenience
Have a smaller facility? Your volume might not justify a baler but you can still reduce the cost of transporting and landfilling paper and cardboard wastes.
Compactors offer a very economical solution, ideal for even small generators. Just push a button, walk away, and come back to compacted paper and boxes, ready for delivery to a recycler.
