Saskatchewan

Weyerhaeuser has operated in Saskatchewan since 1986 and manages 1.78 million hectares (4.398 million acres) of forestland in the province. The company plants millions of seedlings each year in Saskatchewan.

These forests produce wood for building products (softwood lumber, oriented strand board and plywood), primarily sold in the United States or Canada.

Our Saskatchewan Forest Management Agreement area is certified to both ISO 14001 (an international standard for environmental management systems) and the Canadian Standards Association standard for sustainable forest management CAN/CSA Z809.
