Saskatchewan

Weyerhaeuser has operated in Saskatchewan since 1986. We manage 1.9 million hectares (4.7 million acres) of forestland in the province and plant millions of seedlings each year.

These forests produce wood for building products (softwood lumber, oriented strand board and plywood), primarily sold in the United States or Canada.

Our Saskatchewan Forest Management area environmental management system is aligned with ISO 14001 (an international standard for environmental management systems) and our operations are certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® standard.
