Sunday Lecture Series

Our annual lecture/demonstration series features information and discussion on bonsai design, horticulture, and artistic display. These free lectures and demonstrations—presented by Curator David De Groot or a guest expert—will ensure that anyone, whether simply curious or a devoted fan of bonsai, will discover something new.

Bonsai programs are conducted on alternate Sundays, May – September, from 1pm until 3pm. Programs are held under the tent in the Bonsai Collection courtyard and are free; no reservation is necessary. Twice during the season, participates are invited to bring their own bonsai in for styling suggestions.
