What We Do

Weyerhaeuser opened the Bonsai Collection in 1989 in conjunction with the Washington State centennial celebration. Currently, the collection serves as Weyerhaeuser's visitor center for our Corporate Headquarters, welcoming both corporate customers and the public. With over 30,000 visitors each year, the collection also serves as one of the major cultural attractions in the Puget Sound region and is regarded as one of the top bonsai museums in the United States. It is a cultural resource for the local community, offering guided and self-guided tours, special exhibits, and educational programs.
