- What is the best way to apply for a job?
-
For all open salaried positions, we only accept resumes submitted through our online application. First, find a job that interests you using Search Jobs. Then click "Apply Now" to go directly to our online application. New users will be asked to register, so it’s best to have your resume file ready to upload.
If there are no current openings that match your interests, we encourage you to complete a personal Candidate Profile. This way we can notify you of future opportunities that may be suited to your background and experience. You can update your profile at any time and manage when and how you receive notices of job openings.
- How will I know if you've received my resume?
-
You will receive an e-mail confirmation once you have completed the online application.
- Is it a good idea to follow up on my application with a phone call or e-mail?
-
You will be notified directly by a Weyerhaeuser representative if you are moving forward in the selection process.
- Will I be notified if I am not being considered for a position, or when the position is filled?
-
Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications, we are not able to notify all applicants of their status. We strongly encourage managers to communicate decisions; however, it is at each manager’s discretion.
- What happens after I submit my resume?
-
The HR Team supporting the hiring manager will review your application. If, based on your qualifications, they feel you are a good match for the position, you will be contacted for further consideration.
- Do I need to submit a new resume each time I apply for a job?
-
No. Once you register with a username and password, your information is saved in our database and can be used to apply for any open position. You may update your profile and resume at any time.
- How often are new jobs posted?
-
New jobs are listed according to current needs and may be posted at any time. By creating a personal Candidate Profile, you can choose to be alerted of new opportunities as they become available.

- How can I find out the salary range for the job I'm interested in?
-
Weyerhaeuser benchmarks similar positions to ensure our salaries stay competitive. However, actual offers will vary based on experience, education, skills, and the location of the job.
For some positions, we do not disclose specific salary amounts during the initial application process. If your skills and experience match our needs, a Weyerhaeuser recruiter will contact you. Pay for hourly positions are set by individual facilities and are based on local wage rates.
