Process Optimization Internship Program

Typical assignments Interns work in the chips, pulping, recast, recovery, OCC and paper machine areas of the linerboard mills. Assignments include data collection and analysis, process modeling and simulation, process troubleshooting and control implementation.

Engineering Services Summer Intern Program
Program facts This program creates an opportunity to experience the entire capital project process. Our primary goals for this engineering internship are to identify high potential undergraduate engineering students and hire successful interns upon graduation as qualified entry-level engineers.

Application period Application deadline varies each year (but is usually in the first part of February for the following summer)

Other Qualifications Attends an institution accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
  • Eligible to work for at least one summer before graduation
  • Has permanent right to work in the United States
  • Willing to relocate for the summer if necessary
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
Typical assignments This program creates an opportunity to experience the entire capital project process. The intern will work alongside some of the top engineers in the industry while gaining exposure to careers in design engineering, project engineering, and/or construction.
