Weyerhaeuser and Chevron have formed a joint venture to develop the next generation of renewable, cellulose-based transportation fuels from non-food sources. The joint venture, Catchlight Energy LLC, will research and develop technology for converting cellulose-based biomass into economical, low-carbon biofuels as a sustainable energy solution.
