Advisory Committees

To help direct a portion of our giving, the Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation relies on employee volunteers who serve on Foundation advisory committees at Weyerhaeuser locations.

These advisory committees make funding recommendations to the foundation, ensuring that their grant recommendations are aligned with the mission of the foundation.

When Weyerhaeuser enters a new location, that community becomes immediately eligible to receive foundation grants from a prorated annual budget established to support its priorities. When Weyerhaeuser leaves a location, the annual budget allocation is maintained in full during the year of closure.
