How to Apply
The Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation's Advisory Committees review applications throughout the year. Once your online application is received, it will be forwarded to the appropriate Foundation Advisory Committee for review. The Advisory Committee will make a funding recommendation to the foundation. Please allow up to 90 days for a response to your application. In some cases, applications may be declined if local budgets have been fully committed for the year.
U.S. Grants
Step 1: Before you begin, please review our Grant Guidelines and Eligibility requirements.
Step 2: Obtain information required to complete and submit the application.
Step 3: Apply between January 1 and August 1. The Foundation accepts online applications only.
Application Review Process and Grant Notification Schedule:
- Applications received between January 1 and August 1 will be forwarded to the appropriate Foundation Advisory Committee for review. Advisory Committees will make funding recommendations to the foundation throughout the year.
- Grants are awarded in May, August, and December. Please allow several months before you are notified of a funding decision.
- Foundation Advisory Committees in Weyerhaeuser communities, including the Headquarters Region in Puget Sound, will be re-defining funding priorities in their communities to align with the new strategic direction described in this website. This may delay review of grant applications until late in the first quarter of 2008.
