Installation instructions
- Save the .exe file locally
- Temporarily disable anti-virus software
- Close existing instances of Javelin software
- Double click .exe to install

New and Improved 3D Solid View
Take advantage of new tools – Zoom Window, Magnify, and the Navigation Cube. Also export to more formats such as WebGL (.html) and WaveFront (.obj) to share with others in third-party applications.
Multiple Member Connection Design
After designing the members, design fasteners. Fastener solutions are provided for connecting members of beams together like in ForteWEB.

OTHER ENHANCEMENTS TO JAVELIN VERSION 6.6
- IBC 2021 and NBCC 2020 building codes are now supported.
- Floor Opening schemes now contain the Input Method property.
- The E9 detail is now available to be manually placed as a construction detail and drawing.
- SQL Server 2019 is now installed with Javelin.
- Roof Members have updated deflection criteria limits to better align with building codes recommendations.
- Service Levels and design values for Parallam Plus have been updated.
- For NBCC, load combinations have been updated to match changes in the building code.
- For NBCC, the Vibration Modification Factor (Kspan) has been updated to use a value of 1.2.
- For NBCC, the check for point loads close to support now considers the bearing length of the entity creating the point load.
- The worst case (smallest) size point load on the member is used for this check.
- Hanger design has been updated to include newer product offerings for Simpson Strong-Tie connectors.
