Our Razorback IFM project spans 56,800 acres of Sustainable Forestry Initiative®-certified working forests in southeastern Arkansas near the communities of Fordyce, Pine Bluff, and Monticello.
Native loblolly pine and hardwood forests surround streams and wetlands to form a connected landscape across the project’s footprint. Through our responsible stewardship and disciplined execution, the Razorback project enables more carbon to be stored above and below ground and ensures the ongoing protection of fish and wildlife habitat while still allowing for sustainable timber harvests that support the local forest economy.

Razorback is a Working Forest
Razorback’s thriving loblolly pine and hardwood forests are sustainably managed to store carbon across the landscape and support a potentially endless cycle of harvest and replanting that benefits the local forest economy and provides sustainable wood products that are essential to everyday life.
Our management of this cycle across the project footprint is critical to capturing and storing carbon beyond business-as-usual baselines.
Stewardship for Lasting Climate Impact
Additional carbon storage is made possible by extending harvest rotations and implementing a no-harvest regime in hardwood stands and streamside buffers, so trees have more time to grow. This leads to more carbon stored on the landscape over time, measured against a baseline grounded in our history of sustainable forest management and supported by long-term stewardship.

Climate-forward Management
When the forest is allowed to grow a little longer, the benefits build over time. Trees store more carbon, while the landscape stays productive and continues to provide clean air, clean water and diverse habitat for fish and wildlife.
