Devin W. Stockfish

President and CEO

Devin W. Stockfish has been president and chief executive officer of Weyerhaeuser Company since January 2019. He also serves on the company's board of directors. Previously he served as the company’s senior vice president, Timberlands from January 2018 to December 2018, and as vice president, Western Timberlands from January 2017 to December 2017. He also served as the company’s senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary from July 2014 to December 2016, and as assistant general counsel from March 2013 to July 2014. Before joining the company, he was vice president and associate general counsel at Univar Inc., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities law. Previously, he was an attorney in the law department at Starbucks Corporation and practiced corporate law at K&L Gates LLP. Before he began practicing law, he was an engineer with The Boeing Company. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado. Mr. Stockfish serves as chair of the board of directors for the National Alliance of Forest Owners.

Brian K. Chaney

Senior Vice President, Wood Products

Brian K. Chaney has been Senior Vice President of Wood Products since June 3, 2024. Chaney started at Weyerhaeuser in 1991 and has held a series of progressive operational and leadership roles in Timberlands and across the company’s Wood Products businesses. He has served in multiple senior-level manufacturing roles; as Vice President, Wood Products Sales and Marketing, from February 2019 to December 2019; Vice President, Engineered Wood Products and Distribution, from January 2020 to January 2022; and most recently as Vice President, Engineered Wood Products and Innovation, from February 2022 to May 2024. Chaney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications (with a minor in political science) and a Master of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies (with a concentration in business administration, economics and communications) from Oregon State University, and he also completed the Stanford University Executive Program.


Russell S. Hagen

Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer

Russell S. Hagen has been Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer since March 8, 2021. He oversees the company’s Real Estate, Energy & Natural Resources segment, as well as Business Development and Acquisitions and Divestitures, and he previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2016 to 2021. Hagen began his career in 1988 as a certified public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, and in 1993 he joined Plum Creek, where he held roles in accounting, finance and risk management, and executive-level roles in operations and corporate development prior to the merger with Weyerhaeuser. Hagen received a Bachelor of Science in business and accounting from Seattle University, where he is now an adjunct lecturer and serves on the Board of Trustees.


Kristy T. Harlan

Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Kristy T. Harlan has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since January 1, 2017, after joining the company in November 2016. She leads the Law department, with responsibility for global legal, compliance, enterprise risk, land title, records, lease administration and corporate procurement functions. Before joining Weyerhaeuser, she was a partner at the global law firm of K&L Gates LLP where she specialized in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities law. Prior to that, she practiced corporate law at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP in Houston, Texas. She received her J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Gonzaga University.


TRAVIS A. KEATLEY

Senior Vice President, Timberlands

Travis A. Keatley has been Senior Vice President, Timberlands, since Sept. 13, 2021. Keatley joined Weyerhaeuser in 2000 and has held a variety of operations and leadership positions, including serving as Vice President, Western Timberlands, from January 2020 to September 2021, and Vice President, Southern Timberlands, from January 2018 to December 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in forest management from Washington State University, and a Master of Science degree in forest products from the University of Idaho. He has also completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program.

Denise M. Merle

Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer

Denise M. Merle has been Senior Vice President and Chief Administration Officer, since February 2018. She oversees Human Resources, Information Technology, Communications, Government Affairs, Environmental Affairs and Safety. Prior to her current role, she was Senior Vice President of HR and IT from 2016 to 2018 and Senior Vice President, HR and Investor Relations from 2014 to 2016. She was Director, Finance and Human Resources for the Lumber business from 2013 to 2014, Director, Compliance & Enterprise Planning from 2009 to 2013, and Director of Internal Audit from 2004 to 2009. She also held various roles in the company’s former paper and packaging businesses, including finance, capital planning and analysis, and business development. She joined the company in 1981. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Washington. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Pacific Lutheran University and an MBA from Seattle University. She serves on the Board of Advisors of the Seattle University business school.

David M. Wold

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

David M. “Davie” Wold has been Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since May 13, 2022. Previously, Wold served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and since joining Weyerhaeuser in November 2013 he has held a series of accounting and finance leadership roles, including serving as Corporate Controller from March 2018 to May 2019. Prior to joining the company, Wold served as Vice President, Finance, for Verdiem Corporation, a privately held technology company, from September 2011 to November 2013, and he previously spent nine years with the accounting firm of KPMG. Wold earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and finance and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from George Fox University, and he is a certified public accountant in the state of Washington.
